KLINETE Equips City of Dreams Med with Premium Design Waste & Recycling Bins by Metalco
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and refined aesthetics, the City of Dreams Mediterranean resort in Limassol, Cyprus, has been equipped with high-end recycling and litter bins supplied by KLINETE, the exclusive distributor of Metalco products in Cyprus.
The City of Dreams Mediterranean is the first and only European and Mediterranean resort of the internationally renowned City of Dreams brand, joining its sister properties in Macau and Manila. With its commitment to luxurious design, world-class hospitality, and responsible environmental practices, the resort represents a new standard for integrated resort and casino development in the region.
To complement the resort’s architectural elegance and operational standards, KLINETE provided waste and recycling bins of the highest design and manufacturing quality, produced by Metalco, a prestigious Italian manufacturer of urban furniture and a member of the Agora Makers group. Metalco is internationally acclaimed for its fusion of modern design, durability, quality and sustainable materials.
Τhe bins selected for this project are part of Metalco’s range and are designed by the architectural studio Staubach & Kuckertz. The BOX rectangular litter bins feature a robust structure in thick steel sheet, with two mirror-image side panels—one fixed and one opening— with vertical slats in exotic Ipe wood. Each bin is equipped with a bag holder ring, and a snap-lock closure system, ensuring both functionality and security in high-traffic areas.
These bins are not only practical waste management solutions, but they are also design statements that align perfectly with the luxury branding of the City of Dreams. Their presence throughout the resort affirms the hotel’s attention to every detail, even in the realm of environmental responsibility.
We at KLINETE are proud to have been entrusted with this project, managing the supply and installation of these unique elements. Our collaboration with City of Dreams Mediterranean began with the ongoing supply of Housekeeping cleaning products and the support of the Housekeeping team through a tailored Cleaning & Hygiene program for the resort. Our role allowed us to ensure that the resort’s needs for design, quality, and sustainability were fully met.
