Description:
Quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATS) are often used in disinfectant solutions. To prepare the working solution, the disinfectant concentrate has to be diluted to the concentration for use. QUANTOFIX® QUAT facilitates checking and monitoring this concentration.
Semi-quantitative test strips for the determination of QUAT.
Instructions for use:
1. Dip the test strip into the test solution for 5 seconds.
2. Shake off excess liquid.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Compare with the color scale.
If QUATS are present, the test field turns green to bluish-green.
